It’s the ultimate showdown – Optimizepress Vs Thrive Themes. Which one is the better WordPress premium theme? In this review, we’ll go in depth to answer that question.

When it comes to features, both are on a pretty even par. It really depends more on what your focus is. Thrive is easier to learn and ideal for bloggers or businesses that need something that can be set up quickly and easily.

The basic package allows you to use the software on up to 25 websites and includes all plugins. Updates, while you are a member, are completely free and there are no further licensing fees to be paid.

With OptimizePress, you pay a once-off fee. The most basic package allows you to use the software on up to three websites but limits the number of features that you have access to. You can, in addition, buy extra templates on the website.

When it comes to pricing, paying a once-off fee is a nice plus. However, you only get a year’s worth of support and updates. If you want to, you can extend the support and updates for a year at a time, but then you have to pay a licensing fee.

So, while it might seem less expensive over the long-term, you might not really be saving as much as you think you might. Another downside is that if you want all the features with this OptimizePress, you will need to get their premier package and that is fairly pricey.

Price-wise, they work out fairly evenly if you take all things into consideration. If you are quite tech-savvy, the once-off fee option will make more sense. Considering how fast things change online, if you’re not, it makes sense to spring for the option that features ongoing support.

Support for Thrive Themes is the clear winner here. You have access to support:

• In the knowledge base.
• checkThrough free tutorials.
• checkFrom recordings of webinars that can be replayed at will.
• checkDemonstrations.

The advantage of forum support is that you are usually easily able to get support from other members. You might even find that that answer to your question has been previously asked already anyway so you could have access to the answers that you need very quickly.

Only if the query is more advanced does it really need to be kicked upstairs or forwarded to the company itself.

The level of support is one of the primary distinguishing factors between the two services.

In fact, if OptimizePress needs to look at one particular area, this is it. You can receive support via:

It should be said, however, that the company is very responsive to requests for support and usually responds extremely quickly. If, however, you are a beginner or not all that clued up when it comes to computers, the lack of support options will be a pain.

In a head to head battle, both programs are fairly evenly matched. The software in both cases is responsive and works extremely well. However, the can be only one winner, so the prize is awarded to Thrive Themes.

It wins because the company offers better support, the software loads faster, and it is a lot simpler to use. You do not quite get the range of features as with OptimizePress, but you get more than enough to be able to build a great-looking site that functions really well.

At the end of the day, the added features that OptimizePress are geared more towards advanced users.

So if you are looking for a simple, straight-forward website with minimal fuss, Thrive Themes wins in my opinion.
