ClickFunnels has an annual revenue of over $100 million dollars placing it’s value at around $360 million dollars.
What is most amazing about Russell Brunson’s company is that he started Clickfunnels without any outside venture capital funding. That means that Russell Brunson owns most of, if not, all of this $360 million dollar company. Alright not true, he's obviously not worth $360m just because the company is valued at that, AND he does have a business partner who's been there from the beginning.
If you want to know more about Todd Dickerson and the history of Clickfunnels and how it all started then we've put together all the juicy information in this separate article.
However, if you really want to get a close idea then you can extrapolate some of the annual revenue from ClickFunnels and begin to get a good idea of what ClickFunnels is worth. The company currently has an estimated annual revenue of about $100 million dollars based on the 40,000 ClickFunnels members who pay anywhere between $97 to $297 a month.
Now, you will have to subtract the operating costs, which are usually about 66-80% for a SaaS service businesses. That leaves about $20-30 million dollars a year in pure profit. Obviously, some of this is re-invested, bonuses paid to staff and management, some years have capital investment into some serious infrastructure etc, etc.
Since Russell Brunson owns half of Click Funnels, that would insinuate he gets half of whatever is left over each year, likely to be between $5 and $15 million USD. Keep in mind this is based on current revenue and business success. It would have never been like this in the early days!
The above figure alone would be an impressive amount. However, Russell Brunson, like most wealthy people has multiple sources of income. One of those sources of income includes of a series of books.
These books include “Dot Com Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Growing Your Company Online,” “Expert Secrets: Find Your Message, Build A Tribe, And Change The World…,” “108 Proven Split Tests Winners: Simple Tweaks You Can Make To Your Website, So You Can Make More Money Now!,” and “Funnelhacker Cookbook: Profitable Sales Funnel Recipes You Can Use in Your Business.”
Two of these books, “108 Proven Split Tests Winners: Simple Tweaks You Can Make To Your Website, So You Can Make More Money Now! ” and “Funnelhackers Cookbook: Profitable Sales Funnel Recipes You Can Use in Your Business” are offered for free. However, his other two books “Dot Com Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Growing Your Company Online,” and “Expert Secrets: Find Your Message, Build A Tribe, And Change The World…” are sold online for $4.99 each.
It appears that these eBooks are self-published, that means that Mr. Brunson could receive upto a 70% royalty from the $4.99 price. According to Russell Brunson’s website, he has sold approximately 100,000 copies of each book. Assuming a $3.50 royalty for each book. That means that he has made around $700,000 from his ebooks.
Prior to ClickFunnels, Russell had a number of entrepreneurial ventures. In fact, his first foray into the world of online marketing was selling a how-to-make a potato gun tutorial on DVD. There are no exact figures on how much he made, with the DVD sales, but it was assumed that this venture was a success. Later on, Russell Brunson continued to sell more products online. A year after graduation, Russell made his first million dollars selling online.
Afterward, Mr. Brunson went on to sell everything from books to coaching, coupons, t-shirts, software, and technology services. Russell was so successful that he won a Ferrari by generating $1.5 million, in sales, for a network marketing company.
So it is safe to say that Russell Brunson was already a multi-millionaire before the creation of ClickFunnels. Speaking of which, Russell Brunson started his SaaS business as a reaction to the limitations he found from other marketing-based companies.
ClickFunnels was started in 2014. Today, the company is one of the largest marketing SaaS companies in America. So how much has Russell Bruson made from ClickFunnels? We can only assume that he has made anywhere from $5 to $15 million dollars a year for at least the last four years. That would put Mr. Brunson’s ClickFunnels income at a minimum of $40 million dollars to date.
In addition to his previous ventures, current ClickFunnels income, and eBook royalties, Russell Brunson also runs a highly lucrative mastermind program known as “Inner Circle for Life.” In this program, 100 people pay approximately $25,000 a year to receive one-on-one business and life coaching from Mr. Brunson. That would give Mr. Brunson about $2.5 million dollars in revenue before expenses.
Considering the high margins from running the Mastermind program, we can assume that he pockets at least half of that $2.5 million amount. And this Mastermind program has been operating for at least three years. That's about another $4 million in the kitty!
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Russell has become so sought after due to his success and high-energy persona that he is now on the celebrity speaking circuit. He can be hired for $500,000 USD minimum per event! He also has one on one luch meetings where you can pick his brain...apparently for $10k! Now that's a lunch bill!
Adding everything up. We have these sources of wealth for Russell Brunson: previous ventures (at least $2 million), ebooks ($750,000), ClickFunnels ($40+ million) and the “Inner Circle for Life” mastermind program ($4 million). Adding everything up, it is safe to say that Russell Brunson has a net worth of about $47 million dollars.
This is exclusive of any speaking engagements he has been involved with as we have no solid way of figuring this out.
